I may have mentioned before that I don’t have any succulents in my garden, but I sure enjoy creating, coloring and making cards with the Simply Succulents bundle from Stampin’ Up!
This card was inspired by a design by Andrea Walford. I was honored to be included in the Stampin’ Through the Catalog Instagram account yesterday with my card submission! If you don’t follow them on Instagram, you can do that here! Or on Facebook HERE.
Die Cut Banner Label Tip
I experimented and had fun creating a little banner using the label die in the Potted Succulents dies!! Check out the details below!
You could do this with any long skinny die cut or piece of cardstock. It creates a really cool 3D banner!

Card Details:
The stunning background of this card is created by die cutting the Potted Succulent die (shown below) with Basic White cardstock. BEFORE die cutting, I added a piece of Adhesive Sheets to the Basic White cardstock so that this would be one big background sticker. It is stuck to the Crumb Cake card base. The frame is also created with Crumb Cake and 2 of the Stitched Rectangle dies and it was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. I stamped the succulents using Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and colored with my Stampin’ Blends markers. Each succulent flower is die cut and layered onto the card with Foam Adhesive Sheets. The pot is also colored with Stampin’ Blends.

I like like your banner label tip Patty. Easy to put in score lines to make a 3D banner.
