OOOH I hope you had fun watching my weekly live crafting video yesterday featuring these Expressions in Ink cards!! I enjoyed sharing all the tips and ideas with you! If you missed it live, you can catch the replay at the bottom of this blog post!
Using a pack of Expressions in Ink designer paper, make up to 72 beautiful cards with coordinating cardstock colors and stamped and die cut floral images from the Artistically Inked bundle! Here is what I chatted about in the video:
The Expressions in Ink Suite features amazing faux alcohol ink backgrounds in the designer paper as well as in the Artistically Inked stamp set and die bundle! In my video below I shared several ways to combine the stamps, dies and paper with other card making accessories to create over a dozen card ideas!
Above: a soft look featuring Pale Papaya ink and ribbon with a bright Granny Apple Green card base!
Below: a brighter look with the Polished Pink and gold background and a Polished Pink die cut from the Artistic dies!
See all the wonderful papercrafting products in the Expressions in Ink Suite here.
Below: Use Stampin’ Up! Blending Brushes to add ink to a white floral die cut from the Artistic dies, then apply to your card. I added Adhesive Sheets to the cardstock first to make it like a giant flower sticker! Watch the video for all the details.
The 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are the perfect compliment to these Expressions in Ink cards because the paper includes several in Colors! I stamped in Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished in Pink for the flowers below!

Oh! so much color on these gorgeous cards
thank you Marlene!
I cannot get my videos to be landscape now. No icon anywhere to do that. ! am so bombed! Any ideas?
Sorry, not sure, other than maybe an auto-rotate option or setting?
Hi Patty, I’m new to your you tube site and new to card making. I like how you explain everything for us newcomers. I just bought the Gemini Pro 12″ cutting/embossing machine a month ago. I have followed direction in the book but I cannot get it to cut very well at all. Certainly not worth the $330 I paid for it. I was wondering if you could tell me if the Stampinup cutting machine works good?
Thanks,
Olivia
Hi Olivia, Although I am not familiar with the Gemini, I do love the Stampin’ Up! die cutting machine. Check out my video and see if you feel that it would do the job you want: https://youtu.be/H41APib-Mog

Absolutely gorgeous cards. You are amazing. I love the idea of cutting one pack of paper up and using it at once and I never thought about how many cards you can get at once doing that. Confession I am the paper hoarder because these papers are so beautiful I never want them to end. I will definitely get this set next order. Thanks for sharing your amazing creativity. Sandy
thank you for watching, Sandy.. so glad you enjoyed it!!
Hi Patty…wow, the DSP is so gorgeous and love all your cards. I can’t wait to get my order to case these cards.
thanks Jan!
Love the paper and all the good tips, but I tried to watch it last night and parts were very blurry, so waited to watch it tonight and it’s doing the same thing. So don’t think it’s my computer. It hasn’t happened to any other video. But did watch it to the end and thanks.
Thank you for sharing the tips and ideas in this video. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the tips for intricate dies and how to apply the adhesive sheets. But all tips were very helpful. This paper and Suite have to be the most beautiful sets Stamping Up has EVER created. I have ordered two more packs of the DSP and the Ephemera pack. Sadly they were already on back order and it is going to be really hard to wait for them to arrive. Thanks again for sharing this video and your beautiful cards.
Thank you Deanna!!
Thanks for the tips. I have this flower set and paper. Love it. I’ll use your ideas on the ink pads.
P.S. You have a very pleasant sounding voice.
So kind of you Luann.. thank you!!
Beautiful cards Patty! Thank you. I’ll go back and make some of these too.
Please tell me again the measurements to make these cards.
Base cards are 4-1/4″ x 11″ folded in 1/2. DSP is 4″ x 5-1/4″
Thank you. I made some similar cards like these in a class last Aug. . Now I need to make more on my own. What brand is the pieces of dimensional adhesive? And your voice sounds so much like the actress Patricia Richardson. I just saw her in a Hallmark Movie a couple nights ago. Maybe you are both from the same region?
The foam Adhesive sheets are from Stampin’ Up! – you can click the link for it above.. it’s one of the product photos linked to my Stampin’ UP! store. Everything I use is from STampin Up!
Just found your video on Expressions in Ink cards……just beautiful. Will be making all of your examples. Thank you for these wonderful ideas.
