Thanks for all of your enthusiasm for my Pretty Flowers embossing folder projects last week on my weekly Facebook Live video!! I think we all loved the Shimmer Vellum idea the most! Missed it? Click to watch the video! Today we are exploring a Stampin’ Blends coloring technique I learned a few years ago from Kurstan, she taught me how to color the raised areas of an embossing folder with Stampin’ Blends Markers!! Isn’t this just gorgeous when you color the Pretty Flowers embossed raised area with the markers!?
The first step is to emboss the Basic White Cardstock with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder, then collect some Stampin’ Blends marker colors that I wanted to try on this project, then step 2 just start coloring!!! I used: Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party… otherwise knows as “Patty Colors”. See all available Stampin’ Blends colors.
The Embossed Basic White cardstock sucks up the ink pretty quickly, so the trick is to color VERY LIGHTLY and barely touch the tip of the marker to the raised area. This ensures that it will stay on the raised portion.
OH MY GOSH.. look… even the BACK side is gorgeous!! 🙂
Finishing touch: Top fold Polished Pink cardstock base, and stamped Tailor Made Tags die cut with sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set. Polished Pink ribbon tied on the tag finishes this card. No other embellishing needed!! All of these Stampin’ Up! products are available to purchase in my online store… see the products listed below, or, download the tip sheet with products.

Absolutely gorgeous! Your color combinations are so pretty. Thank you so much for your tips and giving us so much inspiration! There was not a favorite from the video as all of them were just stunning. Today, you hit it out of the ball park! Can you imagine this in upholstery fabric in a sun room! Just exquisite!
