I love this card making idea: cut 6×6 paper in half to create 3×6 Designer Paper to make 2 cards! I created these using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Gallery designer paper pack after I made these 5 cards using the same paper pack.

It’s simple!! Just cut this beautiful floral 6×6 patterned paper piece in 1/2 at 3″, then cut each piece at 5-1/4″ tall and mount to a card base. I used Basic Beige cardstock. To fill in the remainder of the card front, I embossed 1″ wide Mossy Meadow cardstock strips with the Damask Designs embossing folder and added a small torn strip of either Pecan Pie or Crumb Cake cardsdtock.

Each handmade card was embellished with a stamped greeting using Mossy Meadow ink and then punched with my 2″ circle punch. See all stamp sets I used and all other Stampin’ Up! card making supplies at the bottom of this post.

Optional: I added some Mossy Meadow ink with my blending brush to the raised embossed portion of the 1″ strips.

A sweet Linen Thread bow and some Pressed Flower Motif dots completes these easy 3×6 Designer Paper cards.

Did you know…
Basic Beige was a new color Stampin’ Up! added 1 year ago.

Give it a try!! I know it’s hard to cut the amazing patterns in this 6×6 paper, but this is a simple way to use it!!
