The Daffodil Daydream bundle is beautiful and is so easy to color!! I used my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and selected the colors with the Daffodil Afternoon Sale-a-Bration paper in mind! I wanted my image to coordinate with the paper!
Daffodil Afternoon paper is a 12×12 designer paper pack – LIMITED TIME OFFER – and free with your $50 online order from Jan. 4 to Feb. 28, 2022 or until supplies last!
If you’ve watched any of my 23 Stampin’ Blends Video tutorials on my YouTube channel, you know that I love to swatch my colors before starting a project. It really helps me to see if the colors in my head go together before I start coloring my image.
Here is my Daffodil Daydream color combo – be sure to Pin this for future reference!
On the inside of this card, I stamped the pretty greeting from the Friendly Hello Sale-a-Bration set. I also layered a piece of the Daffodil Afternoon paper inside the card so that it would peek out in the front. The front also features a doily with a Daffodil Afternoon circle on top. Pale Papaya ribbon and cardstock base complete this lovely color combo.
For more info on making this type of fun fold card, see this Sweet as a Peach post!
I did color the back (white) side of the doily with Pale Papaya ink and my Blending Brush. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers set.

Beautiful card patty, such soft, spring colours. FYI when I visited your website your home page says “demonstrator since 2015…” and I knew that wasn’t you. I think it’s one of your artisan team members bio but it is showing up on your home page.
So glad you enjoyed the card!! I see demonstrator since 1995 on my home page.. can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing and email it to me?
I was unable to take a screen shot but it is Jason’s info. Could just be a glitch on my phone, I will ask my daughter for tech support and see if I can send it to you this weekend
yes, I profiled each of the artisans and that was in his bio…
What a simple but BEAUTIFUL card Patty, thanks for sharing
Thank you Vonne!
Such a pretty card Patty, I am definitely going to case it. I keep practising with my blends so I can be as good as you ha ha! Have a great day😘
Enjoy coloring.. thanks for your kind words!
Beautiful card Patty!
Love the card, will definitely try this one.
Stampin blends are one of my favorite stampin up supplies.
Patty, this is such a beautiful card. I do not have the Daffodil stamp set but have another set that I think will work just fine. I am wondering if the front of the card is actually cut a bit shorter than the back of the card. I don’t think I have seen the Sweet As A Peach video, and the answer to my question is probably there. I enjoy your work so very much and your tips on coloring both with Watercolor Pencils and Stampin Blends have been such a great help. I am ready to give this card a try just wondered about the size of the front panel. Thank You!!!
Yes, as you guessed, all the dimensions are linked in the post above. I hope that helps? Enjoy! This is a fun fold that I use a lot in card making.
