I had a wonderful time sharing how to make these sunset Paradise Palm cards yesterday with you during my weekly live video!!

If you missed the video tutorial, I’ve pasted the replay at the bottom of this blog post! Or watch it on my YouTube channel.
After using Stampin’ Up! Blending Brushes to create the sunset, and then stamping the water, trees and ground, I decided to try embossing my stitched rectangle with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and I really love the result!! It looks kind of like a Hawaiian shirt, or material!
The Tasteful Textile embossing folder (and all of the other great Stampin’ Up! supplies) are available in my online Stampin’ UP! store. For easy shopping, click any of the product photos at the bottom of this blog post!
I took a photo of this card before embossing it so you could see the difference. What do you think?
These are my happy Patty Colors 🙂 I hope you will pin this image to your Pinterest board so you can reference the Stampin’ UP! color combo anytime!! Check out MY color combo Pinterest board for more inspiration!
Each of my cards today features the Heart & Home Memories & More cards/envelopes. The larger striped Misty Moonlight card above has a coordinating blue envelope, and the smaller woodgrain note card below comes with a tan envelope.
My sunset skies are inked with Blending Brushes and a variety of the colors shown above in this post. I’d recommend Mango Melody, Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo to start with, then you can always add more colors if you wish.
TIP! I tried this out and it worked well.. I added some white craft ink with a Blender Pen to simulate some crashing waves on the sand!
Memories & More cards & envelopes pack available online!
Will you give this a try? I hope so!
