OOOH I love these 2 Trifold cards (or are they Z fold cards?) featuring the Stampin’ Up! New Horizons designer paper!!  I hope you enjoy them too!!

I wanted to share 2 versions with you, both using the New Horizons designer paper, but one with the Sailboat Punch, and one with the fence and grass and lots of cute Pebbles!  2 different looks, but both the same dimensions.

I don’t know… are they Z fold cards? Tri panel cards? Trifold cards?  Whatever you’d like to call them, I think they are pretty amazing!

Dimensions:

Card Base:  5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and 2-1/8″.  Cut 6×6 New Horizons paper to 5-1/4″ tall, then cut at 2″ and 4″. THAT’s it!!  add a strip of white cardstock or color of your choice to the right side to finish off the card and write your message or stamp a greeting!

2 Card Making Tips!

  • Above: use the grass die from the Horizons dies (On the Horizons bundle) and die cut the grass from the New Horizons paper for really great multicolored grass!
  • Below:  Use the fence die from the Horizons dies (On the Horizons bundle) and die cut the fence pieces from a woodgrain pattern.  On this card I’ve used a piece of Heart & Home designer paper, but In Good Taste also has great options.

In addition to the fence and grass die cut pieces (see tips above) I also stamped the grass from the On the Horizon set and added lots of super cute Pebbles enamel shapes!!  I just love that finishing touch!

Do you have a preference?  Sailboats or the grassy meadow with the fence?

As always your cards are beautiful and I love them both. I especially like how you added a sailboat shadow on the lake I’m guessing Stampin Blends?

  6. As the old saying goes, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I can’t wait to make up some of these cards. I really love this new DSP. I give it a watercolor paper feel by running it through the Tasteful Textures embossing folder. Thank you for sharing your creativity
