This is a fun coloring technique I originally did 6 years ago, but it’s so beautiful and worth sharing again! I hope you’ll enjoy this Blessings of Home floral image card idea featuring watercoloring with Wink of Stella and reinkers! This was my spin on a card idea by Melanie shared during our team event last month.
I use a clear block and drop a couple drops of each color of Stampin’ Up! reinker onto the block, then dip my Wink of Stella glitter pen into the ink, swirl, and use it to paint the stamped image!
I hope you’ll find this color combo graphic helpful – be sure to pin it to your Stampin’ Up! or color combo pinterest board so you don’t forget this beautiful card!
Behind the colored floral image is a Heart & Home Cinnamon Cider doily, and a piece of vellum overlayed onto a bamboo print from the Symbols of Fortune designer paper pack. The final touch is a sprinkling of several Polished dots, a linen thread bow, and the greeting stamped onto a Tasteful Labels die.

It’s several years old, but here is a video I posted in 2016 showing this Wink of Stella coloring technique. We no longer offer the Archival pad mentioned in the video but you will not need it for this card. We used the Gray Granite ink pad and it worked fine.

Good morning Patty,
I really love your card .. I’m going to do this technique.. I didn’t know I could use my wink of Stella this way but I’m going to try it… It also looks like it would be easier to color.. Thanks Patty and have a great day
Glad you enjoyed it!! Kind of funny to watch that video from 6 years ago, huh? But still the same basic idea 🙂
Hi Patty,
Another great idea – love that you used the reinkers on a clear block. Turned out so pretty! Thanks for the inspiration.
Wishing you all the best and continued success!
