My son has a really unique way of looking at my Stampin’ UP! supplies and suggesting innovative ways to use them. He can look at a punch or a die cut, turn it upside down and see something totally different.. I love it!! He’s done this for years.
When he saw me working with this Simply Marbelous Sale-a-Bration paper, he said, “Mom, that looks like a map.” And I immediately pulled out the new Layering Designs vellum map, overlayed it onto the Simply Marbelous paper and voila.. it is a great match!
How It’s Made:
Overlay the map vellum design onto the marble design from the Simply Marbelous paper, and it looks like terrain under the vellum!
I used a Blending Brush and Basic Gray ink to darken the Gray marble paper, then cut it into a swirvy roadway! Add the cute cars from the Driving By Sale-a-Bration set and punch clouds from the Sunshine & Rainbows Sale-a-Bration paper!
For all the details in making the CUTE cars from the Driving By set with paper piecing, please see THIS POST.
Sale-a-Bration ends soon!
Just a reminder.. I’ve used 3 Sale-a-Bration gift products here, and this special offer ends 2-28-22.
