Order your Oceanfront stamp set online and create these cards!
Above & Below: I used the Pelican on the wood pilings from the Waves of Inspiration bundle on this card and also added a large palm tree from Paradise Palms. Check out the top of the palm tree.. I added some ink with my Blending Brush to some of the Waves of the Ocean designer paper and then die cut the palm leaves.. doesn’t it look great with all that variation in color?
Adding Pebbles and Faux Sea Glass also adds interest to this card!
Above: The fence pieces are die cut using the In Good Taste designer paper (woodgrain patterns) and the Horizons dies. I also added some Faux Sea Glass on the pathway and stamped the trio of small palm trees from the Paradise Palms on the “island” in the distance.
Below: A simple Oceanfront card idea with the fence, pebbles and 2 large palms. See card #1 above for tips on the palm trees!
Sunset Card:
Above: tip for creating the sun… Mask the horizon and punch or die cut a circle from a post-it note, and ink only the semi-circle with your Blending Brush!
Below: how gorgeous is this sunset card?! instead of inking the sky in blue I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin pie ink! ! I saw a similar card by Fanny Stafford with the sunset and decided to try it! Finishing touches for this card: I layered the sunset scene onto Mango Melody cardstock, then onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Waves of the Ocean paper and THEN onto a folded Blue Foil card base!!
Bonus idea:
Thanks to the suggestions of my live viewers yesterday, I added the birds with the On the Horizon set and it was the PERFECT finishing touch to this sunset card!

what did you add to your paper trimmer on the top for measurements?
