Look at this gorgeous Hues of Happiness designer paper that I used to decorate repurposed Stampin’ Up! Die envelopes for Prize Patrol gifts for my team!
This new paper is in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog and will be available on May 3, 2022!!!
Did you watch the video?
If you missed the live video yesterday, I’ve pasted the replay at the bottom of this post!
One of the most asked question is… “Patty, since you use the Stamp-n-Storage magnet sheets, what do you do with the empty die envelopes?”… so.. that is what today’s post and video are all about!
Frequent Question from my viewers:
I often get asked what I do with all my empty plastic envelopes from Stampin’ Up! dies, since I store my dies on Stamp-n-Storage magnet cards in Storage pockets. I love to repurpose them and reuse them as packaging for gifts!! I’ve shared this several times before, but today I have a new project to share!
I put new designer paper and some Iridescent Rhinestones in them as gifts for my Luv 2 Stamp Group this month for monthly Prize Patrol prizes!!
The Blossoming Happiness dies cut out the gorgeous flowers on the Hues of Happiness paper and this rainbow of die cut flowers just makes me SO happy!
Remember, this new paper and these dies will be available on May 3. I’d suggest putting this whole Hues of Happiness Suite on your Shopping List! The suite is #158828.
What about these Glossy Dots!!?? Oh my! Put those on your Shopping List too! #158827, or, they’ll be included in the Suite as well.
I cut a sheet of the Hues of Happiness designer paper into 3″ strips, wrapped it around the empty plastic die envelope, then decorated it with a new die cut label, a stamped tag, and the die cut flowers and leaves. The finishing touch was the Glossy Dots! See it all on the video below!
A few more great questions asked after the live was done:
Q: What do you do when you sell your dies?
A: I leave them on the magnet cards when I do my Mystery Box Giveaways, simply because it takes me too much time to take all the dies off the cards and repackage them.
Q: Does the Brother P-Touch bluetooth cube work with Samsung phones?
A: yes, it does, I use a Samsung
Q: what do you do with your dies when they retire?
A: I leave them on the magnet cards.. I keep some, but most go in my Mystery Boxes

What a brilliant idea!!! You’re the bomb.
So glad you enjoyed it!!
What is a mystery box?
About once a year I offer my retired products in a mystery box as a reward for placing an online order. You can see the most recent one here: https://pattystamps.com/2021/11/stampin-up-mystery-box-crafty-destash.html
I really like how you store things, I am going to have to try and do that.
THanks Juanita!
Hi Patty, Virginia Delzer here!
Loved your video on the pockets today!
Can you please tell me the size of DSP
that goes in the envelope!
Thank you!
I love all your videos, wish I was your
neighbor
Also your demonstrator friend Cindy
Has she been around lately?
You did talk about her often but not
Lately?
Hi Virginia. . good to hear from you? The DSP that I mentioned on the video in these pockets was 4×6, I explained that it’s the best use of the DSP without any waste. But you can put bigger DSP in them.
Cindee had stepped away from Stampin’ Up! a bit and we all miss her creations. I haven’t seen her since Covid.
Thank you!
Awesome ideas and so pretty. Just a FYI I’ve been buying the off brand tape for my p-touch for years and no problems at all. It’s exactly like the name brand, only cheaper. It’s never hurt my machine or gummed up anything. Couldn’t even tell the difference and I’ve had my machine for years. When I was in the cake decorating business and bought large quantities direct from the factory, I would go into the warehouse and things were all processed the same way, just different labels. It was an eye opener. Only thing I don’t compromise on is Jiff peanut butter and Heinz catsup. Lol! There is a difference in the taste, but I buy lots of store brand stuff. Thanks again for the ideas. I’m going to order some of those passport sleeves.
Hey Patty! I really enjoyed watching this video. It was good to get a refresher on your organization tips. You are incredible at organization and details. I always learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing!❤️
