I’ve been sharing some Abigail Rose cards with you recently, and as I mentioned in this video, I was trying to use the softer, muted colors found in this Abigail Rose designer paper.
For this card, I opted to try some bolder colors and use colors outside the range of suggestions from Stampin’ Up! in the designer paper. This card features Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky, Calypso Coral, and Pale Papaya, with Old Olive and Parakeet Party for the greens! Crumb Cake and White are my neutrals. You’ll notice I die cut a layer of the Abigail Rose designer paper with my Deckled Rectangle dies!
When die cutting the detailed flowers shown below, be sure to use your Adhesive Sheets, and I like coloring them with Stampin’ Blends. Check that out in this previous video.
If you missed the technique I shared for coloring these Cottage Rose flowers with Blending Brushes, you can see it in my weekly video here from 5-16-22. I find it nice and quick to shade with my Blending Brushes and Stampin’ Up! ink pads!
All supplies for this card are available in my online Stampin’ Up! Store! Click any of the product photos at the bottom of this post to shop with me!

Good morning Patty,
I love the cards you’ve made with this bundle.. I’ve been looking at this bundle since it came out so I’m hoping to order it soon.. Your cards are gorgeous.. Have a great day
Thank you Mary Ann.. so glad you like it!!
Ooh, I really like the Cottage Rose with these colors! I gravitate more to the brighter colors, so the Cottage Rose suite wasn’t really on my list. But now it probably will be. 🙂
