Flip your Wisteria Upside Down!!

Wisteria Wishes stamp set flipped upside down to create Red Salvia, Lupine or Blue Bonnets! Stampin' Up! card idea by Patty Bennett

I bet you’ll remember THIS Wisteria CARD I created with my Wisteria Wishes bundle.. while I had it out, I decided to try something different and flip the floral images upside down and create a different type of flowers like Red Salvia, Lupine and Blue Bonnets!!

Here is my bright and cheery Stampin’ Up! Color Combo!

I mixed both Parakeet Party and Granny Apple Green for the stems, and used Orchid Oasis with Starry Sky for the blue flowers, and used Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade for the red flowers!

The “sending many thanks” label is from the Stitched Rectangle dies, and I added some Starry Sky ribbon with a bow as well as Iridescent Rhinestones for my finishing touch!

  2. Hello Patty,

I remember you saying that you use the foam adhesive rather than dimensionals
on your cards & wondered how the two compare from a pricing point of view.

Obviously, it looks better but I go thru tons of dimensionals when making cards.

What say you my lovely & talented stamper?

    Thanks very much.

    Sincerely,

    Mona Nebel

    • Hi Mona,
I have not tried to compare the pricing of the 2, but for me it is more of an issue of time.. I really don’t like spending time picking off all those little dimensional backings, so I prefer to just peel off one piece of foam adhesive sheet.
