I truly hope you enjoy the vintage / shabby vibe of my Texture Chic cards today! They were so fun to create with lots of layers, die cut pieces, ribbons, and embellishments. I am featuring the Texture Chic suite today! Find all of the products listed at the bottom of this post, and please enjoy the free video tutorial replay from my live video yesterday!
Above and Below: as I explained in the video, when I start to use a new suite of Stampin’ Up! products, I just enjoy die cutting and stamping lots of images to play with. I used the flowers, leaves and shells to die cut from the Texture Chic designer paper as well as the Distressed Gold paper… both are STUNNING!

Above and Below: I tried out the 2 step stamping shell images in the Seasons of Chic stamp set with both blue / green Stampin’ Up! ink combinations and browns / tans. Then I die cut them all to have ready for my cards.
After die cutting all the pieces, I was ready to make cards!
My first Season of Chic shell card!! I wanted to highlight Soft Succulent as my primary color, and gold as the accent. The card base is Soft Succulent cardstock, the ink on the shell is Pool Party but coordinates perfectly. The ribbon is also Soft Succulent. I added some Petal Pink ribbon and gold trim!
I really wanted to embellish the card with gold accents, but decided to use the Sea Glass embellishments.. what do you think?
Next I used the flowers and leaves. You’ll notice I did not use the snowflakes yet… I think I’ll wait until closer to winter for that! I love that this set carries us through the entire year!
As mentioned in the video, I “swatched” the colors to keep with this set so that I’ll remember my color combos for next time!
I just had to use all the “Patty colors” on my flowers.. they make me so happy!!
My flower card also features Soft Succulent cardstock and ribbon, as well as some Petal Pink cardstock and one pop of yellow!! The In Color Opal rounds are perfect on this card!
