Sale-a-Bration alert!! We are half way done with Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration 2023 and today we are looking at 2 ways to make a card using the free In The Country set!! You might remember these cards from my Sale-a-bration product review video a few weeks ago.. I hope you enjoy the cards and will pin them to your Pinterest boards for future inspiration!
If you love to color, this image looks great with a variety of greens and browns… of course you can use ANY colors you wish, but I’ve included the Stampin’ Blend marker colors I used in the supply list at the bottom of this post. Shop the Stampin’ UP! online store anytime by clicking the product photos!
Above: you can easily see the difference between the colored one (top) and the “easy coloring” version (bottom) when they are together.
Below: an “easy coloring hack” for the In The Country set… simply ink the whole stamp with the Mossy Meadow ink pad, and go over the fence only with your Early Espresso Stampin’ Write marker, then stamp on Basic White cardstock… wow!!!
Above: don’t forget about the Vellum Basics pack.. it’s lovely layered over cardstock!
Below: FREE Sale-a-Bration gift option with $50 online order: In the Country set
What do you think.. are you a fan of the colored in image, or the easy stamping version?

The colored version is my favorite. Love it.
Thank you! So glad you like it!!
I love the colored version! that being said, I appreciate the stamped , i.e. simple version too for when I am short on crafting time! thank you!
THanks, I agree… they both have their place 🙂
I love them both. I’m not great a coloring, so I think the second version is great for me. This image reminds me of when I lived in Squaw Valley many years ago.
Glad you liked that idea!!
Beautifully done on both. I will try both. The DSP adds to it, beautifully done .
Oh thank you so much Marge!!
Hi Patty
Do you know if the heart punch with the matching stamp set will come back in stock? If so when?
I believe the punch is expected back in stock in mid-April.
I like the simpler version for the sympathy card. It lets the sentiment stand out, while the peace and serenity of the landscape still draws the viewer in. Beautiful card!
I like the colored one best.
