Graceful Deer Background Stamp card ideas, from simple to stepped up.
1 Background Stamp, 3 ways to create a card! Welcome to my blog today, I hope you enjoy these ideas as we look at the Graceful Deer background stamp and the 3 cards I created from simple to stepped up!
The Graceful Deer background stamp can simply be stamped in one color on cardstock and it makes a wonderful card (above). Just add a greeting and mat it on a card base. I used a piece of the One Horse Open Sleigh woodgrain paper on my folded card base for an additional nod to the “woodland” theme. Ink: Pecan Pie.
Or, you can stamp it and then use Blender Pens, Stampin’ blends, Watercolor pencils, or Waterpainters to fill in the deer and tree trunks, for just a little more definition. I’ve mounted this one on a Shaded Spruce cardstock base – I love how the Pecan Pie ink and Shaded Spruce cardstock go together!
And lastly, a stepped up version where I stamped the background image in Pebbled Path, then stamped it again in Pecan Pie, shaded the deer and fussy cut them to add to the card. I die cut the background stamp image with one of the largest Deckled Circle dies and mounted it onto the woodgrain paper I used above in card 1 (found in the One Horse Open Sleigh pack).
