After listening to Kylie & Bruno Bertucci last week (they did a special presentation for my team), I have promised myself to start USING UP my designer paper!! This Easy Flap Fold Card is a GREAT way to showcase 4 to 5 patterns (or 6 if you include the envelope flap!)!! If you have not heard of their #loveitchopit system and videos, check it out on YouTube.. they have great ideas for actually USING your designer paper (I know.. what a concept!).
If you have time to watch the card making video (below in this post) you’ll see how I adapted the popular Corner Fold Cards (all over YouTube) to a simpler design that does not require any math or measuring of triangles.
Above & Below: I used my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to color the coffee cups for these cards. They are stamped and die cut with the Latte Love bundle – part of the March 2024 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up! offering, available while supplies last.
All supplies are listed at the bottom of this post – click any photo to link to my Online Stampin’ Up! store.
Above & Below… do you remember to try this? You can CURVE your photopolymer stamps… I did that so that it would fit around the curve of my Everyday Details die cut!
And… in an effort to keep using my designer paper, I chopped it to 4×5-1/4″ to use on the inside of the card and then I also covered the envelope flaps!!
A Little Latte designer paper #163453 available in my online store!
I actually added a few more colors to my cards than Stampin’ Up! listed on the package… love this color combo!
Cutting my paper to 4″ x 5-1/4″ allows me to use it as a layer on the front and also inside. #loveitchopit
By scoring the front panel of DSP at a diagonal with the scoring blade on my trimmer, and simply folding it down, I get the effect of the corner fold card but without any measuring or layers. A 2″ x 4″ piece of DSP behind the flap will allow yet another pattern to be revealed!
I’m pretty much in love with this paper… Thank you Stampin’ Up! for a super amazing suite of products!

Simply gorgeous colouring. Love your LoveIt/ChopIt tips. Thanks for sharing. Love the cfard.
Thank you Patty for all the work you did for us. It’s great!
I loved your video and tips for coloring with the blends. I will definitely try both the card design and coloring technique. I was also wondering if the blends earned with each $50 order get mailed out separately or can they be added to the order somehow?
I hope to see you at convention. I’m sure we will see that you’ve hit the 3 million mark by then.
I will order them separately and mail them later. more info will be in my blog post offer tomorrow.
If you add them to your order you will end up paying for them.
