Fun ideas for Halloween Treats!

I had so much fun making these pocket card style treats!! They are easy to make!

Dimensions / Instructions:

  • Cut your DSP to 4″ x 11″.
  • Score at 5-1/2″ and 9″.
  • Fold in half then fold the flap back. Secure “pocket” with Tear n Tape.
  • Tuck treat inside the pocket.
  • Embellish with the die cuts from the Spooky Sweet 12×12 paper pack, Petunia Pop ribbon, and fun Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.

Tip!! I found it best to tuck my cello bag with candy, or the individual candy pieces (like the one shown below) into the pocket before decorating the front.

A handmade Halloween treat pouch features a bubbling green cauldron, candies, and a broom on the front. Two mini Reese’s candies in purple wrappers peek out from the pouch. A purple ribbon is tied on the side, and the background shows playful Halloween-themed designs. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Above & Below. If your treat is too big for the pocket card style treat, simply create a belly band, and decorate that!

I had three 1″ wide strips left over, so I used Tear n Tape to attach them together, then made my belly band with that! 🙂
