Most Amazing Easter Lilies Cards

Once in awhile I just can’t stop looking at the cards I’ve made….. this batch of Stampin’ Up! Easter Lilies cards is one of those times!

The Stampin’ Up! Easter Lilies bundle – especially these dies – are totally magnificent.  I just LOVE them and the die cut lily flowers were so easy to assemble!

The card above is my favorite of all of them.  I die cut the lily pieces with Bubble Bath cardstock and added both Berry Burst and Melon Mambo ink to them with Blending Brushes, then splattered with the Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends marker.  The background is one of the EASY watercolor backgrounds with Baby Wipes… see THIS Video.

Here is a peek at the die cut lily pieces in various cardstock colors:

Cardstock used: Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral, Bubble Bath.

And look at the difference after adding some ink with Blending Brushes!! They absolutely come alive!!

Biggest Tip:

Well… 2 tips…

  1. start with colored carstock and add ink blending with a coordinating shade of ink
  2. but my biggest tip.. be sure to use a Bone Folder to “round” the petals before assembling your Easter Lily flower

Should I do a Video on making these flowers?

Leave me a comment.. tell me if you’d like to see a video for these flowers or not.  I will be away at OnStage this week, but I could do the video on March 22nd.

I stamped a variety of the greetings from this bundle on die cut pieces and then decided which to use on my cards.

I think I may just keep this card at my desk.. I love it and love the reminder that God Is Good – all the time!

The embossing folder in the background is the Flowering Zinnias 3D folder with Lemon Lolly cardstock.

  13. I love your videos, so I will always vote in favor of a new video. Here, I think that the lilies coloring is a bit complicated so a video will be especially appreciated. Especially after the stamp is back in stock!

  15. I love the color combination! You always inspire me! I’ve been playing with the lily die but my flower was always white and I used a dauber to lightly color the flower. I would love to see a video of your design. You have a wonderful eye for combining colors!
