Thank you for joining me on our Alaska Crafting Cruise travel blog here this week! Today we are taking a look at the amazing conference room on the Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas! It was by far the most amazing room I’ve ever crafted in!!!
Our crafting room was at the back of the ship and had views for miles as we cruised from Seattle to Alaska and Canada. Our wonderful group of 45 crafters enjoyed the 6 classes Kurstan and I had set up for everyone!
We also enjoyed organized swaps and so much more!
But let’s back up to day 1 when we got on board… I believe we had about 12 extra suitcases of supplies, gifts, stamps, dies, die cutting machines, ink pads, blocks, you name it!! As we unpacked all the suitcases, we had a small group of helpers getting everything set up and organized. Below Tina and Izzy are prepping the tote bags, gifts and T-Shirts.
Everyone received a tote with hand sanitizer, and chocked full of crafting supplies for the week!
Logo shirts for the group were optional, and you can see the design in our group photo below.
Each class had a packet of supplies, in addition to the supplies each person brought on board. We had 6 classes for our crafters to enjoy all week!
The empty room as we arrived on day 1…
Happy crafters working on the Hues of Happiness class 🙂
Below: Kurstan made a gift for our crafters for each day, and the first day everyone got a Stampin’ Up! mug with liquid glue to use throughout the week.
Happy Crafters!

The projects were awesome! And I wanted to add that each of those 6 classes consisted of 6 projects in each one! I came home with 36 cards and 2 bonus projects 🙂
So glad you enjoyed it Toni!! and yes, LOTS of projects!! 🙂
So excited to see the crafting room has windows. I guess I’d pictured it an inside room. Hope we’ll have the same set up for the Fall Foliage cruise.
It will be different for 2023.. the ship is a totally different layout and a different conference room space.
wonderful pic….thanks for sharing what looks like a fabulous time!
