I had so much fun coloring the Simply Zinnia stamp from Stampin’ Up! with BOTH my Stampin’ Blends markers and Watercolor Pencils! Yes, you can combine them on one image!! The watercolor pencils tend to give a lovely deep shading or shadow effect that sometimes I can’t get with just the markers.
I’m including all the color combinations I used, but just a reminder: the new colors (Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock) will not be available until 5/1/24 to customers.

Since I did not use water with the watercolor pencils, it was ok to use Memento black ink to stamp the image.
I love this new scalloped oval die cut.. it’s on page 54 in the new catalog, in the Unbounded Love dies set. I used Petunia Pop ink to stamp the image from one of my favorite greeting sets: Layering Leaves.

My cards today also feature the Everyday Details dies to create a frame, and the Flowering Zinnias designer paper. The card base is a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Thick Basic White cardstock – top fold design.
Below is an additional color combo you might want to try.. this combo reminds me more of the mums that would bloom in my mom’s garden in the fall!
