A few weeks ago as I placed an online Stampin’ UP! order for myself, I noticed this GREAT deal: $5.00 for 18 cards and 18 envelopes with gorgeous printed designs on the card fronts! Wow!! I immediately had an idea for these cards (which I’ll share in tomorrow’s post), but as I created my projects with these cards, I also had THIS layered card idea.. so.. I’m sharing the layered cards today!! 🙂
Exploring In Color cards & envelopes are only $5 per pack while supplies last. You must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to get this kit refill item. If you are not a subscriber, consider subscribing for a month and you’ll be able to add these to your next online order!!
How to Make the Layered Card:
- die cut a hole in the front of the card with the 2nd to the largest Perennial Postage die shape
- cover the hole on the inside with cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″
- cover the hole on the front with a Basic Beige postage die cut (largest one)
- add foam adhesive to the original printed card base die cut and place on top of the Basic Beige die cut
- add greeting if you wish
This card idea is quick and easy and you could use the Perennial Postage dies as shown, or the Deckled Rectangle dies would work as well! You can also add a greeting or leave it without.. maybe put the greeting inside as suggested in my FB poll last Friday about these cards.
