Thank you for joining me yesterday to see how I made these trifold cards with the Stampin’ UP! Lily Pond Lane designer paper (without the ducks!) 🙂
I know when most people look at the Lily Pond Lane suite, they see the ducks. I was inspired by Marcee when she used the floral side so I decided to use the floral and plaid patterns on this project instead of the ducks. When I noticed that this paper also coordinates perfectly with the Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie patterns in the 2024 2026 DSP paper stack, I incorporated those sheets as well!
I’m totally ok with mixing and matching 2, 3 or even 4 patterns from a designer paper pack, as I did here. I can hear my mom in my ear saying “it’s too busy”… but I think with all these beautifully coordinating Stampin’ UP! colors the patterns work really well together.
Inside each card, the bottom flap folds up to create a pocket (per the video, use Tear & Tape on the sides to seal the flap shut). I die cut a Perennial Postage die for each card, layered it with white cardstock and added the new Keeping Tabs Punch tab to each one, making it easy to pull out.
I know it’s difficult to see in the photo, but I colored the hello die cut from the Saying Something Ephemera piece with my Pretty Peacock Stampin Blends marker and then added Wink of Stella… so pretty!!

Above & Below: a quick look at the dimensions and supplies for my trifold cards. Please be sure to watch the video in this post for full instructions.
As I did with the hello die cut above, I colored and “winked” the for you die cut sentiment for this card. Isn’t the Pretty in Pink and Pretty Peacock combo a knockout!?
An about my ooopsie…. well, I think it turned out ok… I can pretend that the magnolia die cut is a lily if I want to, right? 🙂
Above/Below: and my afterthought about cutting the front flap at the same angle I think turned out amazing!
What do you think… square flap front or pointed front to match the inside?

I had to make some gift card holders. So glad I saw this video first. I was really inspired by the ideas, tips and techniques you presented.
PS: I am a quilter too. DSP is like fabric to me.
Such a cute card and great directions. thanks.
Oh, patty! These are so adorable! I’m making these for sure. I was waiting for someone to show a project w/o ducks!
This is an easy breezy card. Love all the colors and the design. Thanks for sharing your work.
