After cutting some Thick Basic White cardstock for our upcoming Summertime Fun class this month, I had 96 pieces of cardstock left that were the PERFECT size for 4×4 cards… so that’s what I made! I am trying to catch up on tons of customer thank you cards so I needed a quick and simple, easy card design.
How I made them:
- Cut Thick Basic white to 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″, score in 1/2 to make a 4-1/4″ square card base
- Cut Pretty in Pink to 4×4
- Stamp Pretty in Pink cardstock with Layers of Beauty floral image in Pretty in Pink ink- adhere to base
- Emboss Pretty in Pink cardstock with Fun Patterns embossing folder, tear into a strip and add to pink square
- Stamp greeting onto any die cut or punched white label, add to card
New, in the Online Exclusive section: Fun Patterns Embossing folder set #163790
The question I always get asked about square cards is: Do you make square envelopes for them?
Answer: no, I just use our regular medium envelopes to avoid the extra postage charge for a square envelope (in the US).
