In Color Strip Card

Using strips of In Color DSP make a quilt like card

I loved revisiting this strip technique for making handmade patchwork cards!! Kurstan shared this idea at our Summer Stampin’ Soiree event in June.  Use 1/2″ x 6″ strips and glue them to your base card or a card front as shown. Keep building up your pattern, until the front is filled.  Flip it over and trim off the excess!

  1. Love your card, as I love to “paper piece”. That’s what I call it when I take small pieces of DSP or CS to make a card. TFS

  3. Sometimes I adhere the strips to a separate piece of cardstock and dry emboss to make it look like it has been quilted before adhering to the card base.
