Today I’m sharing 2 fun ways to use the beautiful pine frame in the Winterly Treetops bundle. This is a bundle we used during the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator only Creativity Now event earlier this year, and we were shown how to not only use the die cut piece as a frame, but use it as a stencil with blending brushes!
For the card above, we die cut the frame with Smoky Slate cardstock and layered that onto the woodgrain designer paper and onto the Misty Moonlight folded card base.
Above/Below: you can also use the “inside” of the frame die cut to use as a mask or stencil and add color to your paper with Blending Brushes and ink!! So cool! Nice way to reuse that center piece without just putting it in the recycle bin!!
Another fun way to use the Smoky Slate cardstock is to stamp the bird image (above) on the colored cardstock and then color with Stampin’ Blends!

Great idea to use the center of the die as a stencil! It gives two different looks and both cards are so pretty!
Thank you for the extra tips on using this beautiful stamp set.
Sorry that was the wrong email.
