I had the best time making cards with Flip Flaps!! Did you catch the live video yesterday? If not, please be sure to watch the replay below!!
Have you tried Flip Flaps? I can’t get over how fun they are to add to cards! You’ll also see them on my scrapbook pages starting 1/28 with my new scrapbooking series I’ve been mentioning!
Let me take you through opening the card..
below is the front, tied up neatly with the beautiful Iridescent Striped ribbon and decorated with the cake die cut from the Wildflower Birthday pack.
You’ll notice how pretty the Brushed Gold cards are as you open the trifold card and see the balloon die cut and a 4×4 piece of DSP. I cut 2 of them to 4-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, and overlapped them in the middle to create the trifold card style.
Then the magic… as you open the card, you see the cute 3×3 flip flap in the center, decorated with paper and a die cut from the Wildflower Birthday pack.
Total magic…. lift flip flap #1, and reveal flip flap #2… so cute! so fun!
The card I’m sharing today features the 3×3 Flip Flaps. Tomorrow I’ll share the card from the video that features the 3×4 Flip Flaps.
Below: I placed the sticky part of the flip flaps behind a gold foil square, then put a square from the DSP pack on top of the gold.

Wet or lick your finger to remove the static charge, before removing the wax paper backing on the flip flaps.

OMG, PATTY BENNETT! THESE CARDS ARE AMAZING! 💕 As always, Patty, your directions are FABULOUS, and like many others, I SO APPRECIATE “YOU” for determining the measurements!! (I appreciate you for lots of other reasons, too! 💕) After seeing these cards, the Suite n’ Scrapbooking supplies, I had to order it all! Cha-Ching, Cha-Ching! $$ (Happily!) I’ve 2 friends who’ll have 80th Birthdays, one in Feb n’ one in April~~AND NOW I’VE GOT 2 FABULOUS CARD IDEAS for each of them!!
