As I started to play with my new Detailed Succulent stamp set, I was thinking about color combinations I’d used in the past with other succulent images, and I pulled out purples and greens. I decided you might like to see the color combos I tried, so I’ve included those in todays post as well.
Color Combo Suggestions
One tip I found was to stamp on colored cardstock. If you want any white spaces, then stamp on white, but I liked the soft colored backgrounds.
Each card also features layers of the succulents… I fussy cut 2 of the same image, cutting one smaller than the other so I could layer them. I also “curled” them with my bone folder, like you’d curl curling ribbon.
Each card has a piece of Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper as the background layer, then a smaller embossed layer on top and a tag from Greetings of the Seasons that I stamped with the Elements of Text script stamp.
