I love the beauty of organizing and storing my Stampin’ Up! ink pads, Stampin’ Blend markers and cardstock in rainbow order. It helps me create and get inspired when I see all of my supplies arranged by color. I redo my Stampin’ UP! rainbow order each year because Stampin’ UP! releases 5 new colors each year and retires 5 older colors (these are called In Colors).
This year (for the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog) I have used the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow order suggestion on page 77 of the catalog as my inspiration.
Stamp-n-Storage Links
I use wood storage pieces from Stamp-n-Storage to hold and organize many items in my craft room. Items shown in this post:
- Ink Pad Holder: Mine holds 50 pads, and is no longer made. However, they do offer a ton of ink pad holder options for Stampin’ Up! ink pads. I’d recommend the one that holds 75, if you have more than 45 colors.
- Stampin’ Blends Holder: Mine holds 6 markers per “slot” and you can find it online here.
- Cardstock Holder: I store my Stampin’ UP! Cardstock in Rainbow Order in my Stamp-n-Storage 8-1/2″ x 11″ Paper Holders. I have 6 of them. Please check out all of the Stamp-n-Storage paper holder sizes and options here.

Note: the labels will print best on Avery sheet #5167 (80 labels per sheet)

Thank you for the stamp in up color chart. This is so helpful.
Thank you. I have been wanted to re-arrange my colors to the “rainbow” method. Some colors can be a little confusing as to where they fall.
Now to merge all my “older” colors.
