One of the ways I enjoyed making these flowers was to die cut them from cardstock using the outline and detailed die, then adding shading with Blending Brushes and Stampin’ Up! ink pads.

Below: new In Colors: Strawberry Slush and Timid Tiger ink on Petal Pink two tone cardstock. For more info on the new In Colors, visit my New In Color post.

I stamped each card front panel with the 2 step flower from the Impressions Abloom set, and then embellished the cards with the die cut flowers and In Color Flat Pearls.

  2. I am trying to get my beginner supply a little at a time.
I am having issues with adhesive.
What is best for small embellishments like flower stems? The strips are too wide.
I see some artists using a bottle with a needle tip for small areas.
    Thank you for suggestions.
