Tabs to Organize my Catalog

Each year I like to create tabs for my new Stampin’ UP! catalog to help me quickly find products or categories. This year it took me longer to figure out HOW I wanted to categorize everything… when you watch the video below, you’ll see why!!

A Stampin’ Up! annual catalog lies on a desk with floral cards and Post-it tab packs on top. Colorful markers, scissors, and crafting supplies surround it. The title reads "How I organize my catalog with Tabs" and the website pattystamps.com is displayed. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

I bought just the white Post-it Tabs then color coded them with my Stampin’ Blends markers.

A close-up of three colorful, handwritten-labeled catalogs stacked diagonally. Text overlay reads: “I used blue for scrapbooking kits, Petunia Pop for Suites, Red for Bundles.” The catalogs feature floral designs and craft supplies. Website: www.PattyStamps.com. If you feel this is helpful, you are welcome to copy or modify this for your own use. I’ve included photos below of the categories and products I flagged for myself with tabs to organize my catalog the way that suits me best.

A stack of magazines is shown from the side, each with a handwritten white tab labeling sections such as “CELEBRATE SIP,” “TURTLEY CUTE MEMORIES,” “ALPHA,” “KRAFTY,” and other crafting themes. A “PattyStamps.com” watermark is visible. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)
A hand holds open pages of a catalog, showing labeled tabs for organization. Tabs are handwritten in black ink and read “INDEX, DSP, ADHESIVES, BLOCKS, EMB. FOLDERS, DIES, PUNCHES, TOOLS, INK, EMB., PAPER, BUNDLES, EMB. BUND., BUNDLE, KITS, SAVINGS.”. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

As I explained in the video (replay below), I put main categories across the top, and the individual products I tend to refer to most along the side.

I also mentioned the May 2025 Online Exclusive release, download your brochure by clicking the button below.

A binder with labeled tabs—“KITS,” “SCRAPBOOK KITS,” “EPHEMERA,” “M-M,” “SPOTS,” “BUNDLES”—is shown. An open catalog displays a Sympathy & Support card kit with blue floral cards, envelopes, and supplies arranged neatly. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)
