I kept creating gorgeous colorful paper coneflowers after my video last week, and wondered about a subtle black and white background for this batch of handmade cards. I grabbed my Stampin’ UP! Botanical Textures Black & White patterned paper pack and I love the results!

One more thing I tried out was 2 paper flowers on my card front. Again, love how they turned out!!
The final difference for this batch of cards was that I stamped the flower centers with Early Espresso ink.. I liked that better than the Pecan Pie.
And don’t forget to add a pretty touch inside your card!

Below.. Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush are a gorgeous Stampin’ UP! color combo.

Beautiful! The black and white paper adds a new dimension and really makes the coneflower pop! Thanks for sharing this great idea!
Thank you Susan.. so glad you enjoyed them!!
Love this video! So many great ideas to add depth and shading. The other videos i watched made them flat flowers. Thank you for all your tips throughout the video.
It’s great that they can be created so many different ways!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Gorgeous cards. Love your color combos. What is the color combo of the first and last cone flower?
The first one is Petal Pink two tone cardstock on top, Calypso Coral two tone cardstock on the bottom layer, and colored with Flirty Flamingo and Strawberry Slush ink. I think I also did some Peach Pie ink.
The last one: Daffodil Delight two tone cardstock with Flirty Flamingo ink.
