Mini Alphabet Die Card Ideas

After I created a Father’s Day Card for Eric, using the Mini Alphabet Die from Stampin’ Up!, I used the “negative” space, left over portion of the die to make this cute HI card!

Mini Alphabet die HI card. A handmade card features letters A-Z in turquoise on a blue and green background. Two gift tags with ribbon are attached, one with the message "YOU MADE MY whole day" and blue embellishments. Craft supplies and die-cut letters are visible in the background. This fun card also features the On The Go paper. I used it for the Mini Alphabet die portion and for the tags.

A digital collage of patterned scrapbook papers with travel-themed designs like backpacks, suitcases, water bottles, and maps. A white box in the center reads: “Stampin’ Up! ON THE GO DSP #165566 WWW.PATTYSTAMPS.COM/SHOP” in bold black text. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

I wanted Blueberry Bushel gems, so I colored some Antique Pearls with my Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends.

As I mentioned, I created the Father’s Day card first, then thought the negative space of the mini alphabet die paper would be cute on the HI card above. Here is the Father’s day card.

It is a pocket card with an opening for the tag and gift card to slide in/out. I used Seal+ to adhere the gift card to the tag, and tied it up with Darling Duckling ribbon and Shy Shamrock Twine.

A handmade “Happy Father’s Day” card with layered tags is displayed on a grid-pattern craft mat. Above it is a set of clear stamps with phrases like “Love,” “Happy Birthday,” and “Thank You.” Two black gift tags with an Amazon logo and twine are on the right. It was fun to stamp Happy and Day using the Layered Thoughts stamp set on the fussy cut tags, then add Fathers with the mini alphabet die letters!

  1. Love these ideas! Using the alphabet die cut page is genius! It’s a great background and a perfect way to use that piece. The Father’s Day card is so nice. The tags and different fonts are great together.

  2. Love your HI card!! What a clever idea! I just used that set for the first time yesterday, and didn’t want to throw away the negative… now I know just what to do with it!
