I’m so excited to share more ideas with you using the Stampin’ Up! Sunflower embossing folder!! I used the card front pieces from my Inked Occasions paper pumpkin kit (which I’m sorry to say is now sold out), but you can try this with any printed paper or make your own background paper with Blending Brushes or a watercolor wash.

Sunflower Embossing Folder Resources:
- Sunflower embossing folder available online
- Watch my Sunflower embossing folder video
- Check out Tammy’s tips for using the Ink SPOTS with the folder (that’s what I did with these cards.. I love the softer look and control!)
I made my own ink spots with Fresh Freesia, Strawberry Slush and Melon Mambo ink refills for these cards. After seeing Tammy’s video I loved trying out the spots and seeing the different results than using the full size ink pads. You can also use the Ink Spot assortment 1 and Ink Spot assortment 2.

The Inked Occasions kit I used here had gold frame accents on the card fronts, so I incorporated the Gold Foiled Frames and Labels pack for my stamped greetings.

Hi Patty
I love all the techniques you have shared using the versatility of the SunFlower embossing folder. I used up my original April Paper Pumpkin kit but bought a refill that I haven’t used yet so thanks for sharing this wonderful project!
Beautiful! I never would have thought to use that paper. The results are stunning! Thank you for the tip about the ink spots and all of your helpful suggestions.
Thank you so much for sharing these samples. I love them an will be CASEing them.
Beautiful cards, Patty! The gold-frames really make the cards elegant!
