My list of Stampin’ Blends Coloring Tips…

I reviewed all of these tips on the live video yesterday, then got all distracted with coloring the pumpkin and the blue coneflower…. so forgot to recap with my top 2 tips:

Start with at least 6 shades of one color… then use at least 4, not just the light/dark combo of one color
Blend when wet, Shade when dry (it will make more sense when you watch the video – replay below).

One tip you’ll learn in the video is how I swatched all the Stampin’ Blend colors. Reds, Yellows, Oranges, Pinks, Purples, Blues and Greens. This immediately helps me to see which shade is the lightest, which is the darkest, and which mid-tone colors I want to use.

A Note about the Trays in the video

This is the most popular question every time I post a Stampin’ Blends video…. “what trays do you have your markers in?”. So first, let me just say, I only have them in these trays for the video, so they can stay organized. I don’t keep them that way on my desk. They are available on Amazon in MANY sizes.
