4 Easy Christmas Cards with Vellum

Today I’m happy to share 4 Christmas Cards with vellum that I created last week. I wanted to use the vellum from the November 2025 Online Exclusive release, so I challenged myself to make a dozen cards with vellum.

Easy Christmas Cards with Vellum. A handmade card with a frosty white leaf pattern on a light green background. A gold-edged label reads "Season's Greetings" in gold, decorated with holly leaves and berries. Three gold glitter dots accent the card. A matching embossing folder is shown beside it. Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder

Christmas Card Above: I trimmed my vellum to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and embossed it with the Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder. It is layered on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Elegant Pines designer paper.

A handmade Christmas card features a raised, blue bird and “Merry Christmas” text on a decorative tag. The pale green card base has an embossed leafy border and is paired with a “Peaceful Greenery” embossing folder in the background. A hand holds the card. Peaceful Greenery Embossing folder

Dove Card above: I trimmed my vellum to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and embossed it with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder. It is layered on a Garden Green card base, but I added 2 label die cut shapes from the Peace on Earth bundle behind the center embossed section. The dove is die cut with Pretty Peacock cardstock and “glimmered up” with Wink of Stella.

A handmade holiday card with embossed white holly leaves and berries on a pale green background. Glittery green accents highlight the berries. A white banner at the bottom reads “holly jolly” in green script. The PattyStamps watermark is in the lower right. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Jolly Holly Embossing Folder

I promise you this card looks so much better in person.. I’m not sure why I had such trouble trying to photograph it, but it’s really neat in person! The vellum is embossed with the Jolly Holly embossing folders and layered onto some paper from the Elegant Pines DSP pack. The Holly Jolly greeting was die cut from the Christmas Words hybrid embossing folder.

A handmade holiday card is open to display multiple green and white panels. The left panel has pinecones and branches, the center is green with a white stitched frame, and the right panel is green with a snowflake pattern. “Patty Bennett @ PattyStamps.com” is printed below. A handmade holiday card features layered plaid and pink backgrounds with white embossed festive words. Two paper ornaments, one red with a white knit pattern and one light green, hang by black cords. “‘Tis the Season” is stamped in green. “Patty Bennett” appears at the bottom. Christmas Words embossing folder

My base card is a plaid 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ Christmas Greetings Mix & Match card base. I loved the country vibe of this card with the red and green plaid from the Christmas Tags & More 6×6 paper stack. The ornament die cut ephemera pieces are also in that paper stack.
