Did you enjoy the tips and ideas I shared during my weekly live crafting video tutorial yesterday? If you missed it, I’m including the replay at the bottom of this post. Using the roller coaster stamp and building the Ferris Wheel with the Stampin’ Up! Boardwalk Fun bundle to make my Beach Boardwalk cards was delightful!! It really brings back some super fun memories from my childhood at Magic Mountain in So. Cal. with my cousins!!

Using the fabulous patterns in the Beach Boardwalk designer paper pack for my card layers was amazing.. be sure to check out the designer paper in my online store! Doesn’t the white embossed Roller Coaster look great on this pattern from the designer paper pack?

Stampin’ Positioner Tool review in the video
I did use the brand new Stampin’ Positioner Tool to help stamp the roller coaster image during the video. If you’d like to skip right to that part, use the button below!

I also got out my White Embossing Powder…. my childhood memories of big roller coasters are that they are always white wood .. I doubt all of them are now… but I liked the white embossed image for this card!
Learn Tips & Tricks to create these cards!
In my Beach Boardwalk Video:
- learn how to use the stamps and dies together and on their own
- see the products in this suite
- learn how to layer the dies
- see my Inspiration Samplers for this suite
- make some cards together

Among the tips I shared during the video: I love die cutting 2 Ferris Wheel images, (one lighter, one darker) and offsetting them slightly when gluing them onto the card… what do you think? I like that bit of shadow and definition.

Another Beach Boardwalk Card tip: Use a black marker to define the triangular shape of the Ferris Wheel structure, and add a punched circle to the center. This really helps define the image to my eye.
