When I first saw this Quilt Card idea, I thought it looked SO complicated, and I hesitated to try it… but friends, this is one of the easiest cards you’ll ever make that looks difficult!!
I used my friend Sharon’s post and video as my guide, then made a couple changes, because, isn’t that what we do? We get inspired by a fabulous project, then we put our own spin on it!? I do!

I used the Brushed with Beauty paper and 3 cardstock colors that coordinated with it. Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Old Olive.
I also decided when I was assembling these cards that maybe the “blank” 4 corners needed a little somethin-somethin, so I die cut these pretty corners with dies from the Beautifully Celebrated bundle and added them on the corners of 2 of the 3 cards.

Above is the Crushed Curry version. Below is the Calypso Coral version. I used the Brushed with Beauty paper for my corner die cut pieces on the card below.

Each card has an embossed background. Check out my free download for more info and see the product photos at the bottom of this post for Stampin’ Up! papercrafting supply info. Please click any photo to shop in my online store. Thank you!
I wrote the measurements down wrong when I watched Sharon’s video, so you’ll notice my cardstock square is 4″ instead of 3″, so that’s why I decided to emboss the entire cardfront. (which is a twist on Sharon’s version).

Free Tip Sheet for Quilt Cards
I hope you enjoy this idea! You might have noticed, there is NO stamping on these quilt cards! You could certainly stamp your greetings, or stamp an image for the center. I used a Beautifully Adorned gold vellum ephemera piece in the center, and all of my sentiments are from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

I viewed your quilt cards. It’s just like sewing a quilt , get inspired by a friend and you try it your way. I love that you shared cause I’m also a quilter and these are beautiful
I’ve made many quilts in the past but now I just make cards, so love the quilt card you made and I’m going to try it. Thanks for showing us how to do it.
