Quick & Simple Note Card Set

Have you tried out this amazing Hope Love & Joy set from Stampin’ Up!?

I made a quick and simple note card set with this Hope Love & Joy bundle, and included the Mixed Up Patterns DSP pack and the Creative Haven tag dies.

A set of handmade greeting cards with love and joy messages in pink, red, and blue tones. Stamps, inks, and envelopes are visible. Designs include hearts and globe motifs, with phrases like “Hope” and “Fill the world with joy.”. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

The funny thing about this stamp set is… it reminds me of the “eye chart” when I go see my ophthamologist. Know what I mean? 🙂

A couple tips when creating the HOPE card:

  • Use a Blender Pen dipped into the ink pad to add a little bit of shading to the ribbon image
  • Use a sponge dauber to add some color to the edges of the HOPE cardstock rectangle
A handmade card says, “You’re on my mind & in my heart,” with the word “HOPE” in large letters and a raised pink ribbon. Markers, ink pads, and stamps surround it. Arrows label shading the ribbon with a blender pen and defining its edge with ink. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Note Card Tip Sheet – Free Download:

A hand holds a blue and white greeting card with the words “Fill the world with JOY,” where "O" is a globe. The card is layered on patterned blue paper, with matching envelope and stamping supplies visible in the background. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Know what’s funny about the card above? I totally forgot to add a piece of twine to the hole in the tag!! Oh my!! OH well.. it’s still a fun little note card!

I die cut several tags from the Creative Haven die set and used 2 of them on this set of quick & simple note cards.

Metal tag and shape dies in various sizes and shapes (rectangles, ovals, banners) are displayed on a wood surface along with cut white paper pieces in matching shapes. Text reads: "Creative Haven Tag & Shape dies #167208 www.PattyStamps.com/shop". To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)
A hand holds a handmade card that says “So much LOVE” with two pink hearts. The card has red and white layers with a swirl pattern. Nearby are a photopolymer stamp set, red ink pad, and crafting supplies on a white marble surface. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Each of the 3 cards in my quick & simple note card set today features the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Up Patterns designer paper. I love the subtle floral design on this card. I opted to add a Strawberry Slush border with my Stampin’ Blends marker and my inking triangle.

A crafting workspace features a “Tip!” graphic suggesting to “Add a border with a Stampin’ Blends marker.” Below, a red marker lies on a rose-patterned card next to a ruler. A white card with "LOVE" and "so much" in red is shown above. The workspace is on a grid mat. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Whether you make all 3 cards for a gift set, or multiples of just one, this Hope Love & Joy set is a winner for uplifting stamped greetings!

A hand holds four handmade greeting cards, each with layered paper designs and words like “HOPE,” “JOY,” and “LOVE.” In the background, there are stamp sets, craft dies, ink pads, and crafting tools on a white surface. The cards are pink, blue, and red. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Love you lady friend for all you do. 💖 And I pray for you and your family. I know this all takes away time from your family. So that’s why I pray for them too. And thanks for all the tips and tricks you share with us. ❤️❤️❤️

    • Hi Cynthia, I love to sit and create my Inspiration Samplers that I’ve shared on many videos and then use all the supplies in a suite in as many ways as I can. I spend about 60 hours a week at this business so I am always thinking of ideas, color combos, ways to use my products and combine them with other products, etc. Thanks for your kind words and prayers!
