Stampin’ Blends Color Combos: Flowers Fair stamp

A hand holds a slim, rectangular greeting card with colorful hand-drawn flowers and green leaves. “Thank you” is written in pink script in the bottom left. The card is partially inside a white envelope on a marble surface. Text is above and below the card. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Please enjoy these Stampin’ Blends marker color combos I suggested for the Stampin’ Up! Flowers Fair stamp during my weekly live crafting video yesterday! Reminder: Stampin’ Up! suggests using Basic White cardstock and a Memento Black ink pad for stamping!

Slimline Card dimensions:

  • Use an 8-1/2″x11″ Thick Basic White sheet, cut it at 7-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold in half at 3-3/4″
  • Using the left over strip, cut 1/4″ off the length and use that 3-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ piece for the front layer. Or cut a Basic White piece the same size (recommended)
  • Use a business size envelope (#10)
  • Use the Medium Slimline tips in THIS DOWNLOAD for more info.
A crafting tip graphic shows how to make a medium slimline card using floral designs. Steps include card base and layer measurements, scoring instructions, and photos of completed cards with stamped flowers and sentiments. The source is PattyStamps.com. Here is the color combo I used for the slimline card featured above!

Another similar but slightly “softer pink” color combo suggestion:

A hand-colored floral illustration features pink and yellow flowers with green leaves. Next to it are neatly arranged Stampin’ Blends markers in coordinated shades. 1. Yesterday was first time I was actually able to watch one of your video’s and really enjoyed it. Thank you for all the wonderful tips, etc, on your coloring techniques. Was most helpful and I always hated coloring, *even as a child) but you made it look so easy showing your step by step techniques.
Loved the idea of just using a marker and coloring just the edges.
I hope I have the great opportunity to watch another one of your videos someday.
    U R a great inspiration 1 us all.
    Thank You.
You have a wonderful and enjoyable weekend. Keep up the Great work.
God’s Blessings be with you today, tomorrow and always
