Beautiful in Pink: Begonia Belle

My journey to making pink flowers with the Stampin’ Up! Begonia Belle set was interesting. I tried Bubble Bath for both of the two step images and it was too light. Then I tried Melon Mambo with Bubble Bath, and that was pretty but too much of a contrast.

I settled on Melon Mambo stamped off THREE TIMES (!!) and a layer of Bubble Bath for the stamped image. I think the pink Begonia Belle images turned out gorgeous!!

  • Base Card: Bubble Bath 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″, top fold card
  • Leaf layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White stamped with Nature’s Frame background stamp in Lemon Lime Twist
  • Arches die: Basic White

I created a beautiful gift box and card set to share with you today. I don’t know why but these flowers and these projects bring me so much joy and just make me smile!!

I used a scalloped window box but actually covered up the scalloped window, LOL… I guess that’s ok. I think the recipient will still enjoy it!!
