This week I am teaching the "My Story" scrapbook class. This is a spin off from the idea Jaron shared at Convention last year.
We used the 3-ring On Board Chipboard album (#112456, pg 185) and covered it with paper from the Wright Stuff DSP pack (#115674, pg 163) (I used ModPodge per the instruction suggestion). The "My Story" letters are cut out with the Big Shot and the GREAT new alphabet die set called Simple Letters on pg 198. Above is my cover.
Here are a few of the covers from my students:
by Debbie McMillen:
by Nora Tryon:
and Gabriella turned her book the other direction.. SO clever!
Here is my first page.. I'll be sharing the rest of the pages with you during the week:
Supplies we used:
Wright Stuff DSP pack (#115674, pg 163), Cool Kids SS kit (#115699, pg 165)
Old Olive, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Ruby Red Cardstock. Class participants also got a black journaling marker and got to use the retired rubons called Greatest Moments that were perfect for this book!
Stay tuned for more pages from my book later this week.
Hi Patty! Was the album hard to cover? I’ve had one sitting here for almost a year and have been to scared to try and cover it.
Great project! Was it an all day class?
This is so great. What a treasure for your son and future grandkids! You look so cute in your old pics.
