Chipboard Ornaments

I made these fun ornaments today using the On Board Trimmings chipboard assortment from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. I had a great time making these and also used the Holiday Harmony designer paper and the Dashing designer paper.

I sponged the star with Purely Pomegranate ink (edges in Chocolate Chip) and the center embellishment is from the "Hand Selected" accents & elements tin in the Holiday Mini:

The Rhinestone brad holds the ribbon in place through the Jumbo eyelet:

The chipboard on this one was sponged with Old Olive Ink.

For info on how to make the wreath, see my previous post HERE (scroll down on that page).

I try to make an ornament every year with our picture on it, so I used photos from the 2007 Stampin’ Up! Panama Canal cruise for these.  Aren’t my guys DASHING in their cool hats?

A simple border drawn with the Journaling marker around the sponged chipboard adds just the right touch for this one:

I think I grabbed a retired snowflake stamp for that one… oh well.  The other stamps are from Glorious Garlands.

With just over 2 months until Christmas, I hope this helps get you in the holiday stamping mood.  (If Hallmark can display their Christmas ornaments in July, I can post these in October! LOL)
