One of the first blogs I ever started visiting a little over a year ago (when I got addicted to "blog surfing") was LMac’s Catered Crops… by Linda McClain. I wasn’t sure what this blogging world was all about, but I knew I loved her blog and projects and ideas! So, Imagine MY Surprise when she emailed today and awarded me with the Arte y pico award! Since it’s all en espanol, I’ll take Linda’s word for it that it’s an "Artsy Fartsy" award, as she calls it! LOL Guess I’ll have to get my son in here to translate that site for me!
I know that several of you have nominated me for this and other awards over the past few weeks.. I’m very sorry I was unable to come up for air long enough to post the awards and name other bloggers for this award. My life got crazy with the 90 orders for the Card Organizer Kit in the Mail and then prepping for my downline meeting yesterday. So, with that said.. I’m moving forward… Here are the rules for this award. I get to pick five blogs I consider deserving of this award for their creativity, design, interesting material and also for their contribution to the blogging community. Allison at Stamp When I Can .. Talk about a "contribution to the blogging community".. wow.. if you have not visited this blog… check it out.. I found this blog a long time ago and LOVE clicking on all the links she finds for us… you could spend HOURS clicking on all the great finds Allison has listed… check her blog when you are in need of inspiration!
And lastly, I’d like to just add another link.. my dad is an awesome artist and I know I got so much of my love of color and creativty from him. My mom was a quilter and gardener and I also inherited much of my love for color, color combinations and for flowers in the garden from her.
