Whoohooo! this was one of my goals.. get this banner done in time for my BIG SHOT CLASS tonight!
You can click on it to see it larger…
I used the Big Shot and the Pennant Die to create this, as well as the Serif Essentials alphabet die!
Other supplies: Riding Hood Red cardstock, Bella Rose paper, Riding Hood Red striped ribbon and Jumbo eyelets. I wheeled on the Riding Hood Red cardstock with the "Scatter Sunshine" jumbo wheel (pg 59) and Versamark ink.
Close ups:
For the die cut letters, I snailed Riding Hood Red cardstock to the white cardboard that comes in the back of the packs of Designer Paper, then ran that through the Big Shot to cut the "thick" letters:
I mounted the letters to the banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I strung them together by putting a Jumbo Eyelet in each corner and inserted Riding Hood Red striped ribbon through them – the ribbon is continuous from one end to the other:
the top of the pennants fold over, so I "sandwiched" the ribbon inside that folded flap on the back and secured it with Sticky Strip.
So.. I have a question for you .. if I offered a Pennant Die project as a kit, would there be interest in purchasing it? I would cut the large and small dies for you, cut your choice of letters, and then include the ribbon and eyelets, and you'd assemble it with your own adhesive, crop a dile, scissors and dimensionals. Wheeling your cardstock would be your option. I would price it "per letter". I could take orders through the end of Sept. and then fill kit orders in October. Let me know if this would interest you.
Have a great day.. check back tomorrow for my Big Shot class projects!
Hi Patty!
Fabulous project! I don’t have the alphabet die set yet (it’s on my next order) but I’ve been making pennant die cuts for a teacher project I’m working on.
Keep the ideas coming. Your are amazing!
Hugs and Blessings

WoW Patty, that’s great. Love it.
Oh, this is SUPER cute!! I still can decide if I would use the pennant dies enough to get them. I sure do want that Alpha but I need to save my pennies for that. So cute!!!
What a FUN banner!
It looks awesome! I’ve been considering that die to do my own banner to decorate my stamp room.
I think the kit is an awesome idea! Hopefully, people will go for it and buy it from you, but I think the idea is very clever!
TFS!
Cindy 🙂
I was thinking of banners for my girls’ rooms. Definitely put me in the “interested” category.
