Many of you have asked about the Stampin' Up! Hawaii Incentive Trip taking place this week… yes, I did earn the trip but we elected not to go… I know.. I know.. you are saying "How could you NOT go to Hawaii!?".. well, last fall when I had to make the decision if we were going or not, I just "knew" we needed to forgo this trip and opt for the cash award instead. That turned out to be a wise decision as the economic downturn has really hurt my husband's income and now we are thankful for the cash award from Stampin' Up!. While I will miss being with all my wonderful Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends this week in Hawaii, I am also thankful that we had another option.

I would have done the same thing and I am sure you will be on your next trip.
Don’t beat yourself up. You are putting your family and especially your husband first. That is what we should do. A trip is just that and hopefully you will make the next one and hopefully the economy will be better for all of us. I don’t even have a penny right now, and I’m ok, just low on my choice of food stuffs. But you know, I am greatful mine is a “fixed” income, low as it is. It comes every month and I have a roof and food, which is more than some I see on TV. This economy has hit everyone. Don’t feel bad, my friend. Count your blessings, I do!
