Watercolor Wonder Note Cards with Too Kind

I'm sure you can guess by now that the Watercolor Wonder Notecards are one of my absolute favorite Stampin' Up! items of all times!  You can stamp right on them, or layer on top of them… here I chose to stamp on watercolor paper and layer that onto the note cards.

I used a set that I had not used in AGES, it's called Too Kind and is found in the "big" annual Stampin' UP! catalog on pg 71.  It's referred to as "two step stamping" which means that the images comes in more than one part, and therefore takes 2 steps (or more) to complete the image.  For these pretty flowers, the stem, the large solid part of the flower and the detailed smaller part of the flower are all separate images, which makes it SUPER EASY to stamp in more than one color.

I stamped the stems in Old Olive ink on the watercolor paper then the larger, solid flower image in Crisp Cantaloupe and then the detailed part of the flower in Calypso Coral. I stamped the dots (from Gorgeous Grunge) lightly in Old Olive to add a little to the background.
