I’m sure by now you’ve learned how to make these fun cards, 3 at a time, or maybe you’ve already made some!! This design is really perfect for mass producing your holiday or Christmas cards, whether you make a dozen or 12 dozen cards! (if you missed the video, watch the instructions here).
Today I’m sharing several options for making this card design, all with the Walk in the Forest designer paper.
You have lots of options for the cardstock mat layer and the card base when using this paper. I elected to go with all Thick Basic White card bases, then I mixed and matched with Real Red, Pool Party, Garden Green and Pretty Peacock mat cardstock layers.
All the greetings are stamped in the same color palette, on basic white cardstock and punched out with the Decorative Circle punch, then layered a colored die cut or punched circle.
I used the new flat glitter sequins – they are really my favorite new embellishment!

Pretty cards! I love this technique and the paper is a perfect choice.
Hi Patty: I had just made a couple of the 3 card sets from retired DSP til I got the hang of the dimensions . Loved the way you used it for a Christmas idea. Have several different Christmas DSP from the mini that I think will work great. Thank you for sharing this idea.
Hi Patty,
I’m new here and I’m not familiar this layout and would very much like to see how it’s done – will you point me in the direction of your how-to, please?
Also, just to make sure I’ve got this right – the Meandering Meadow DSP isn’t available until November, right? I LOVE the cards you made with it!!!
Thank you so much for sharing.
