Today I have a Video Tutorial to share with you .. I love to create stamped projects with Watercolor Paper and my samples today feature a watercolor wash background with stamping over them.
As I explained in my video, my dad, Jim Burns, is an amazing Watercolor artist and although I inhereted his love of color, texture, nature, composition, etc., I cannot draw or paint freehand to save my life, so, I USE STAMPS! 🙂
Yep, that's my dad! He is a mega-talented watercolor artist! He has been painting since he was a child! We are so blessed to have dozens of his paintings hanging in our home, and we love being able to enjoy his amazing talents!

I did a card using the salt technique but not in the same way that you showed in your fabulous video…now I will try again using your techniques…and Lovely as a Tree….our forever stamp set! Have always loved this technique but your tutorial is great, showing how to incorporate it into the landscape instead of just a background piece. Your Dad is very talented!
One question – the card you show at the end of the video where you used The Open Sea on a Z-fold type card – is that card posted on your Blog anywhere? I couldn’t find a search box on your Blog to try to search for it. I would love to ‘Pin’ it as a reference to CASE that card – I just love that one!!
