Timeless Elegance Stampin' Up! Card Swap

I am really enjoying these Metallic Foil Doilies! They are such a great accent AND they are already die cut.. AND only $4.00 for a package of 24!!! They come in 2 sizes, in gold and silver, so you get a great variety .. but.. hold on.. did you know you can also flip them upsidedown and have a white doily!! 🙂 See this post for an example! I created this top fold card for a swap with the Control Freak Group I am a part of. I used a Basic Gray cardstock base, and Timeless Elegance paper as accents (pg 143, #138444). The banner piece with script writing on it is from the Neutrals paper stack, pg 144 #138435 and was punched with the fabulous Banner Triple punch.

My focal point was stamped in Memento Black ink using the All Boxed UP stamp set, new in the catalog, pg 63, and available in wood or clear mount. See the bottom of this post for all ordering info. I punched out the greeting with my 1-3/4" circle punch and layered it onto a 2" basic black cardstock circle.

Did you see the fun silver accents? I colored some Candy Dots with a Silver Metallic Sharpie marker! WATCH THE VIDEO here for more info on that quick and easy technique!
